The last month of fishing has been one of the best so far this year and I only see the action getting better in November. Offshore fishing has been as good as I have seen it in years, and the inshore action has been strong as well. There has been a great Trout pattern in the upper bay with lots of Trout in the 20 to 27 inch range. The south shore of Tampa Bay has been on fire as well.

Captain Robbie Burns has been seeing the Redfish and Snook showing up thick in their normal fall spots.  This is a great time to target these fish as they look to fatten themselves up for the winter.

The offshore fishing has been very rewarding. Fishing live baits in 80-120 ft. of water has been the ticket. We’ve caught our limit of Grouper and Snapper on almost every trip and with water temps dropping the fish will move in, making your runs shorter and gas bills lower!

As  far as species go, the Kingfish run is in full swing and these fish are hungry! You can find them from the middle part of Tampa Bay all the way out to the grounds but some of the best fishing is right of the beaches and in the main shipping channels. They have been responding well to chum and live baits bump trolled in the right area.

The weather is just beautiful and the fishing is awesome so now is a great time to get out there and get on the fish.  All of the Tampa Bay Fishing Guide Associations great guides are ready to take you fishing.  Give us a call to book your next fishing trip and make it a great one!
